There is a difference between heated glass and heated frames. Heated frames means the frames are heated, heated glass means the glass is heated along with the frames. Heated frames are usually fine for most locations, however if you live in a high humidity area such as Florida, Alabama, South Carolina, etc. you will want the glass heated as well to avoid fogging. Keep in mind that glass freezer doors will always be 3 pane glass with heated glass and frames. If you follow the above guidelines and run your air conditioning in the summer months, you should be fine with your glass door selection.
