Is your Cooler or Freezer in Optimal Condition?
With warm temperatures just around the corner, and some parts of the country skipping spring and heading right into summer, it’s more important than ever to make sure that your walk in cooler or freezer is in the best possible condition to start the season. Everyone knows the importance of routine maintenance; however this needs to be addressed on the refrigeration system as well, not just the box itself.
When it comes to maintaining your condenser and coil, you can start with a good visual inspection. Look for any possible signs of leaks or damage to the unit. Any leaks or damage found should be promptly fixed by a licensed professional. Next, if possible, hire a licensed professional to do a tune up on your system. Your refrigeration system is no different from your furnace or A/C system in your house in that it requires routine maintenance and the periodic tune-up by a professional. These steps will help ensure the longevity of your system.
Interested in LED Retro-Fitting?
With the price of energy increasing by the day, many people including convenience store and restaurant owners are looking for ways to lower their energy bills. An easy way to accomplish this is by purchasing glass doors with LED lighting instead of fluorescent lighting. Many of you are probably thinking “I’d like to have LED lighting in my doors, but I’ve already purchased fluorescent lights, aren’t I stuck with them?” Fortunately, the answer to that question is now “no”.
Retro-fitting your current fluorescent lights to LED’s is now a simple turn-key operation. In as little as 10 minutes per door, your lights can be converted to LED’s which are up to 75% more efficient than T-8 fluorescent lighting. This retro-fit conversion is done without having to make modifications to your shelving. If you’re interested in retro-fitting your fluorescent lights to LED’s and enjoying the long life, better illumination, and lower energy costs, give American Cooler Technologies a call today. We would be glad to assist you in this money saving process!
